Welp, we’re half way done. Seriously, half way done? Depending on the day I will respond “already???” or perhaps “only half way!?!?” Either way, we are about 20ish weeks away from meeting our first born!
I feel like I have been pregnant forever….it’s been ALL year! Even though I am just starting to really show…. I already miss being able to do everything I used to. It’s small silly things like eating & drinking whatever I want, lifting heavy things without thinking twice, jumping around (aka playing volleyball), using regular cleaner and nail polish, sleeping on my back, doing yoga without modifying, making it through the day with getting incredibly immobilizingly (made that word up) tired by 2PM.
The things I LOVE are feeling this little thing move around inside me, planning for his/her arrival, dreaming about life with a new tiny family member, people noticing my bump in public and smiling, Andrew loving this baby so much already.
At 20 weeks this baby is length of a banana, around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel. Baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. The top of my uterus is about level with my belly button. Baby is swallowing more these days, which is good practice for the digestive system. He/she is also producing meconium.
