Strawberry Park Hot Springs

When I’m in the mountains it is oh-so-easy to stand in awe of our Creator’s glory. There is a place tucked away high in the mountains near Steamboat Springs where hot spring water fills natural tubs, snow lays gently on the boulders and aspen trees, and hippies from all over flock to see. We took the gang to Strawberry Park Hot Springs during our Steamboat visit. It was hard to capture the experience with picture (there are NO lights at the hot springs and we went at night) and my words will never explain the real beauty of these hot springs, but here are a few attempts.

  1. It is beautiful! Great pictures. With the steam rising up and the terraced rocks, it looks almost mystical! Like a hidden healing well from Lord of the Rings of something!
