It feels oh so nice to be with family. Stress is easier to put on hold, and the valuable parts of life are easier to notice. I feel so fortunate that my in-laws make up a family that I very much enjoy spending time with. We spent this Thanksgiving in Pagosa Springs, CO with Andrew’s parents, sister, bro in-law, niece, nephews, and grandparents. Although we couldn’t stay at the Heritage House (due to construction), we had a glorious time. The kids are at a hilarious and super fun age so playing with them all day was a joy. Wesley LOVES Uncle Drewbie and everything Uncle Drewbie does (including jumping into 38 degree river water, which he of course did right after Andrew jumped out). Abby is a doll and loves anything girl. Micah is almost a year now and adorably into everything.
We spent thanksgiving watching The Thanksgiving Parade, playing outside with Kona and the kids, feasting on delicacies, taking a dip in the Hot Springs, and watching movies. I love Pagosa and this family. Praise God for good family time!
