Went to DFW last week. Kona and I drove the 13 hours from Denver to Dallas to spend the week with a few friends before heading to Fort Worth to meet Micah (our new nephew)! I showed up at Laura’s house late Tuesday night. We spent the day together Wednesday basking in the sunlight. She took me to the Dallas Arboretum, which I had never been to, to picnic for lunch. It was gorgeous! The flowers are brilliant and the Arboretum was full of kids and old people. We were happy.
I took Kona over to Erin’s house Wednesday night to meet her dog Happy and see my Soon-To-Be married friend. It was the first time I have seen her since shes had the sparkler onher finger so it was a much needed reunion.
(Why didn’t we take any pictures Erin? grrrr)
Erin and I woke up Thursday morning and met Noelle for breakfast before Erin had to get to work. Noelle took me from there… shopping. There is nothing like Dallas shopping in the whole world. Even if you are not much of a shopper by nature, like myself, shopping in Dallas can always be enjoyable. We spent time in South Lake home shopping and Highland Square clothes shopping. Lunch was spent outside eating a long awaited sandwich from Eatzis. Yummmmmmmmm.
